Check out the new Vera Bradley Patterns for the Fall of 2009.  You may not even know that the fall patterns have already been chosen, but I was able to get my hands on some pictures of these patterns to show to all of my loyal blog readers.  The three patterns for this fall that Vera Bradley will have available in stores in August are....

  • Carnaby
  • Blue Rhapsody
  • Pirouette

Be sure to leave a comment on what you think about these patterns below!

word of description:

- Blue Rhapsody has a sort of bohemian blue hue with amethyst, sapphire, and emerald tones throughout it.  It's paisley and floral combination tie it all together.

- Carnaby, retains a deeper crimson and brown color and has lovely big flowers and leaves and a bright red flower to decorate the border.

- Pirouette has a classic black background and a very organized design of white and red flowers.

New Styles for the Fall as well include these below:

-Double Eye (for eye-glasses)
-Euro Wallet (very nice)
-Lanyard (for ID or Keys)
-Olivia: (roundish handbag with bow details)
-Pleated Tote (going to be HUGELY popular..in my opinion)
-Saddle Up (worn across body or over shoulder, whichever you choose)
-Stephanie (another cute handbag style)

What do you think of the Fall 2009 Patterns?

So there are the patterns.  What do you think?  Personally, I am not a huge fan of the Blue Rhapsody and think it almost looks like a fake knockoff of a Vera pattern that you so a lot of these days.  I'm never much for knock offs so I am not exactly thrilled about the Blue Rhapsody, but I am sure there are some out there that will like it.

I think there will be a few older Vera fans who will like the Pirouette pattern, as it has a similar style to Classic Black and a few other patterns that were made years ago.  It's simple, which is nice, but doesn't have a whole lot of zest.

The Carnaby pattern is one that I definitely think will be a big hit and the most popular of these 3 patterns coming out in August.  I love the design and the colors, and its warm tones are reminiscent of the fall season, which is the purpose of making a fall pattern to begin with.

What is Your Favorite Retired Vera Bradley Pattern

Aren't those retired Vera Bradley patterns just the best!  I have been meaning to ask this question for a while now.  I want to know what you  think because I am thinking of changing the retired Vera Bradley page  in the store here to show some of the most popular discontinued patterns of all time.

I know there are some of those old patterns that have stood the test of time and are now coveted by all!  Now if you ask me, I think Nantucket Navy was a classic that never should have been discontinued, and here are a few more of my favorites:

  1. Mesa Red
  2. Capri Blue
  3. Pink Elephants
  4. Windsor Navy
  5. Piccadilly Plum
  6. Chelsea Green
  7. Bermuda Pink

Oh wow!  I think I could go on and on, but a top list of 7 should be good for now.  Some of these are more of their recent patterns, but I just didn't have much of a taste for those patterns made in in 80's like this one below.

Now maybe you actually like some of those patterns above, but I like the more recent patterns a LOT more.  But that's the great thing about VB patterns and styles.  There is something for every one.  Some love the Hope Garden pattern while others hate it, but I think everyone can find at least one pattern they just love and can call their own.

So what is your opinion?  What is the all time best pattern ever invented by the company from Fort Wayne Indiana?

I will listen to your comments and make some of those patterns available on the retired Vera Bradley page to make those easier to find on ebay.

Oh, and by the way, I hope you are ready for the next Vera Bradley giveaway!  I already have the item I am giving away and I think you will like it.  Stay posted.  I will have more information on the next contest in a post by Monday.
