Vera Bradley Rasies 8 Million for Breast Cancer

It is called the Vera bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer and according to their missions statement their mission is to totally eradicate breast cancer through research and research related projects.

This foundation began in 1998 and has since rasied almost 8 millions dollars for this noble cause.   I think it is a very cool thing that a company would invest all that time and effort to destroying a horrible disease.

And it's also nice to know that when you buy a Pinwheel Pink product you are supporting the foundation as well.

Here are all the ways that the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is funded and how you can show your support too:

1. Ribbons for Life and general donations
2. Any Pinwheel Pink sales that come through. ( hey it's a great pattern anyway)
3. Donations from Vera Bradley retailers and store owners.
4. The Vera Bradley Golf and Tennis Tournament (the main source of VB income for Breast Cancer)
5. Outlet sales day
6. Tickled Pink Toast and Tour
