Vera Bradley has made some flip flops lately that have been very cute but now they have made something absolutely delightful for the hot summer months.  Straw sandals!  These flip flips or sandals are made from straw so it will help to keep your feet cool when you are walking along the hot sandy beaches this summer.  But hey, even if you don't live near a beach you can appreciate these sandals.  I love how the patterns are traced all around the edges of the shoes and they have they cute little flower on top as well.

It is pretty much just the retired patterns that you can find with the dog collars, but once in a while you will find a person who is making the dog collars themselves out of Vera Bradley fabric.  Either way you can have a dog whose collar matches your purse or handbag, which is always really cute.  If you are a real dog lover, than you will really appreciate having an extra accessory to go along with you for the ride.  And your dog shouldn't mind as the official Vera collars are well made and will last for many years to come.

The Vera Bradley Cargo Sling Purse: Is it the Perfect Purse?

The Vera Bradley Cargo Sling purse is a great bag to carry along for any occassion.   It's a lovely whimsical purse that women are finding perfectly suitable for the modern woman and the woman on the go.  The pockets are all perfectly places and the size is not too big and not too small.  If you don't already have a Cargo Sling purse you probably want one, but let me just point out a few of the reasons this purse is such an attractive find.

As I mentioned the size is just about perfect.  It is not big and bulky like some of the purses Vera Bradley makes, and it is sleek enough to dangle from your shoulder without knocking over all of the stuff on the tables in the mall.  The exact measurement of the Caro Sling are 14" wide by 12" high and 5" deep.

Another thing I like about this purse is the adjustable strap that can go as long as 46" allowing you to use this purse as a crossover and let it hand by your side instead of just under your arm.  This kind of keeps it out of the way when you have more serious things to think about like shopping=).

One of the first things you will notice about this purse are the 2 pockets on the outside called gusseted  flap pockets.  These have velcro closures which can be a bit noisy in quiet situations.    At each end of the handbag is a slip pocket, which are quite useful for carrying cell phones I find, or any other thing you deem necessary to tuck in there.  Or you could just use the 3 slip pockets in the inside if you felt like it as well.

Vera Bradley Mesa Red Laptop Cases

I have noticed that a lot of people are lookign for Vera Bradley Mesa Red laptop cases.  These cases are great for carrying around your computer, whether it is a Mac or PC, and looking business like in style.  There are at least 10 searches every day for Mesa Red laptop cases so I thought it would be a good time to write a post about them and see why women love them so much.

It is probably mostly college students who are using these stylish laptop carriers, but I see more and more use them for other things besides school.  If you look Bestbuy or some other big electronic store you will find that almost all of the laptop cases are black or really boring.  They are obviously not meant for women and that women were not in mind when these lack luster bags were designed.

Vera Bradley Napkins for Lovely Dinners

Vera Bradley napkins just may take you by surprise.  I never even knew these things existed but they are real and they are a surprisingly delightful addition to any dinner table.  At first I was like "There is no way I can wipe my mouth with this beautiful fabric!" But the great thing about all kinds of Vera Bradley products is that they are machine washable and you can wash them over and over again as many times as you want to.

There are all kinds of patterns of these napkins you can find but you will more than likely not find them at any retailer of Vera Bradley or any little boutique store in the mall.  At least I have never seen them in any stores around here in North Carolina.  I have listed a few of them that are on sale from ebay below though, to make it easier to check them out for yourself.

Any dinner table would look splendid with some Vera Bradley dinner wear and pretty napkins to match the occassion.  If you are going with a themed dinner than it shoudl be easy to find a pattern that goes along with your theme in color and design, since there are just so many to choose from.

The Vera Bradley travel organizer wallet is a great way to store all of your stuff, including money and photos and credit cards, when you are going on a long trip.  What I love about these travel organizers is that they just hold so much in a relatively compact space.  Good for travel or everyday use, these nifty little wallets/organizers by Vera Bradley have 8 slots for your credit cards, debit cards, library cards, and any other same size cards you may be carrying, and there are 3 slip-in pockets for any other items for you to carry along for the ride.  The ID window is great for your license or picture ID and is easy to slip in and out for convenience.

I said this thing is great for travel and it is especially perfect for those long plane flights.  We have all been there where you have to constantly show your ID and boarding pass to like 15 people before you even get on the plane, well the Vera Bradley travel organizer has a full length slip in pocket on the front which can be the perfect place for all of those important documents like your boarding pass.  Just remember, since you are holding so much stuff in this organizer wallet, you really don't want to lose it or you are in really big trouble.

On the back of it there is another zippered pocket that you can slip some extra things into.  The whole thing holds a lot but is a nice little size at 6" x 10".

Vera Bradley Rugs: Stylish Rugs to Match Your Favorite Patterns

Vera Bradley rugs are just another indicator that the company makes just about everything you would ever need or want in your home.  Maybe some of you have seen these rugs.  I am seeing more and more of them although I have yet to see one in someones home.  These rugs are full of color and as vibrant as all of the patterns that Vera Bradley makes.

I have seen patterns like Raspberry Fizz, Riviera Blue, Java Blue, Peacock, Mod Floral Pink, and even some of the newer patterns like Mediterranean White and Bali Gold.  These rugs are nice and thick and made of very good material so they should last for many years to come in your house.

There are even some pattern that are made with the rugs that do not come with any of the purses or other accessories.  Barbara Vibrant and Barbara Black are 2 patterns that I have only seen on some of Vera's rugs.  They are more floral in nature, but I like the more familiar patterns that come on the rugs.

The Daisy Daisy rug really looks  a little different though.  It shows the daisy flowers blown up nice and big so each flower practically covers the entire rug.

So how big are these rugs?

Well they come in 3 different sizes.  The smallest is a 2' x 3' rug, the best size up is a little bigger at 2'6" x 4' 2", and the largest rugs are just big enough for a living room at 3'6" x 5'6".

Vera Bradley is mostly known for their creative designs and exciting purses and handbags, but it all began with Vera Bradley luggage.  The two ladies who started the company did so because of the lack of stylish luggage for women.  They were tired of seeing boring suitcases and pullman bags at the airport.

So the new company that started in Fort Wayne Indiana all began because of the need for beautiful luggage.  If you have ever seen the Vera Bradley Travel totes and luggage suitcases up close you will notice the incredible quality with which these bags are made.  The zippers are thick and sturdy, and the fabric is very well made.  It seems like they are built to last a lifetime, which is good because you will want the pretty patterns on your suitcases to last forever.

Vera Bradley Knockoffs: Why Even Bother?

There have been a lot of Vera Bradley knockoffs floating around lately.  Even the big box stores are selling these horrendous bags.  Oops, did I say horrendous.... I meant hideous!

Ok, so maybe some of you have a fake Vera Bradley handbag and you love it.  I am happy for you.. Really.  But why bother getting a fake when you can get the real thing for cheap from sites like this one.  And then you know you are getting a bag that is built of the finest quality, it will not fade in two months from 1 washing, and your bag won't stand out like a sore thumb for being a fraud.

Hmm, perhaps I am a bit too hostile on the issue, but for those of us who love Vera Bradley there is just no substitute.  If you want to look like you have a Vera Bradley purse, get a Vera Bradley purse.  The fakes are pretty easy to spot after all.  I am not even going to teach you how to spot the fakes.  Just get to know the real patterns and you will be able to spot a phony bag from a mile away.

I have noticed that even anchor stores in the mall are carrying these bags.  They do not call them VB or anything, but it is obvious that they are trying to look like the Fort Wayne Indiana company's bags.  They try, but they indeed fail.
